This is a very nice faucet, I got it in black. It matches the restoration faucet perfectly. The shower head is extremely powerful, it’s great but we changed it because it started to sting our skin. This piece of hardware from Kingston brass is heavyweight and well-made. I bought several pieces of hardware to match in the antique brass finish. I should have consulted my contractor prior to buying this, because another piece is needed to work with this three-way diverter valve. It would’ve been helpful to have notes on the description, indicating another piece was needed. The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement. Solid brass body and stem with 3/8" x 16PT teeth on spline count for the handle. The cartridge thread size is 1/2-14 NPSM. Featuring an M24 x 1.0 threaded collar, and a rubber O ring at the bottom.
