READ THIS FIRST! I can’t believe that none of the reviewers of this item mentioned that you have to peel the film off of every piece of this case! When I opened the box and saw that the pieces were dull and opaque and not crystal clear like the description says, I was just about to close the box up and send it back. Then I noticed a small corner of one of the pieces was peeling, so I pulled on it. There underneath the film is a crystal clear acrylic shelf! There is a film on BOTH sides of each piece, and it’s quite difficult to scrape a corner off big enough to get a grip on the film. And it’s a tedious process to peel ALL of those pieces, but it’s well worth the final outcome! It’s a beautiful, sturdy, very spacious, crystal clear display case. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the doors don’t close securely- they just swing back & forth loosely.
