They have scratches on them that go to the border of the print. Seems to be a manufacturing flaw since I received one set and then Wayfair was awesome to send another set of the prints and still they had the similar black lines that were a part of the print scratches at across each print.. This rug is beautiful, and so soft! It looses a star because the frayed edges have threads pulling out, and I worry about its reliability over time with kids and pets. It’s also a lot lighter than pictured. I was expecting more color but it’s pretty light. It’s beautiful! I am glad I got it on sale though, as I don’t think it’s worth over 1k in the 9x12 size.. I have had my fair share of rugs including all wool, and Ruggables, I was impressed by the softness, even though I was skeptical of all the other reviews that said the same thing, we gave the rug a couple days to unwrinkle and it has laid out pretty smoothly for the most part. I can’t believe I got this rug for the price I did! I originally ordered a smaller one for my bedroom and when I took it out of the box I laid it out in the living room room, and the colors looked so good I had to order the bigger one for my living room! I originally had a white rug in here, but was so tired of everything being white white white. Love the warmth of this one!
