This rug is beautiful, and so soft! It looses a star because the frayed edges have threads pulling out, and I worry about its reliability over time with kids and pets. It’s also a lot lighter than pictured. I was expecting more color but it’s pretty light. It’s beautiful! I am glad I got it on sale though, as I don’t think it’s worth over 1k in the 9x12 size.. I can’t believe I got this rug for the price I did! I originally ordered a smaller one for my bedroom and when I took it out of the box I laid it out in the living room room, and the colors looked so good I had to order the bigger one for my living room! I originally had a white rug in here, but was so tired of everything being white white white. Love the warmth of this one! It isn’t super soft, but that is what I wanted and is as expected based on description. I have two young boys and two animals so I do not need anything that will hold onto dirt very easily. It’s a nice rug but if you have pets that like to stretch out and flex their feet, be warned that this rug pulls easily. The rug if light weight so was easy to handle and put down even though it was a 9x12. I knew it was low pile but I’d actually say it’s no pile - and the pattern appears more “stamped” on then woven. So I ended up returning this item but I give it 5 stars anyways because the problem was that it didn't match my existing furniture, not that there was anything wrong with it.
