Wanted a recliner to recover in after knee replacement surgery. But didn’t have a lot of space. This smaller recliner was a great option. It is extremely comfortable. The delivery left something to be desired. They kind of tossed it in the direction of the front door. The box is quite heavy so they were probably struggling and ultimately gave up. But once inside, it was relatively easy to unpack and put together. But two people were necessary. The bolsters didn’t have a right or left indicated so that was a little tricky, but otherwise the instructions were easy to follow. I don’t think anyone over 5’10”would enjoy this recliner. It’s on the smaller side and your feet would definitely hang over the edge. I thought the back and foot rest could move separately but they move in tandem. For example, you can’t be upright and have the foot rest up. Or you can’t be reclining back and have the foot rest down. The foot rest does not fully rise to seat-level but it’s still very comfortable. One thing I cannot figure out is how to make it stop rocking andor swiveling. This posed a problem during recovery when trying to rise from the chair because it would rock back or swivel. I feel like there should be a feature to lock the chair so it does not move. Auto locking mechanism looks the two pieces together. Chair frame made is solid wood and steel. They rock and swivel 180 only stationary when reclined. The leather is supple and soft, and durable. I purchased two and they are definitely worth the investment. These recliners are very comfortable to sit and lounge in with. It reclines just shy of flat. The recliner also has built in usb ports for charging devices the side when relaxing, however power is needed for charging and reclining. Once I purchased they were tagged online as out of stock. The recliner comes in several pieces. Installing the back to the bottom part was simple. I did struggle a little with adding the sides of the chair, I had to get my daughter to help me. The chair is comfortable but I do feel like the back lays back a little too much when lifting your legs up. I like the rocking motion and that chair swivels. Im giving this chair 5 stars because of the features. I purchased two of these chairs in beige. However, this is a very firm chair and I was hoping for more cushion in the seat area. I suffer from pain in my tailbone and unfortunately this chair doesnt help that. I do love all the added features of this chair and inspite of the firmness I would still recommend it if you arent bothered by pain. The fact you can raise just your feet and the back is separately adjustable is gold. Its very hard to find a chair with all the quality features this one has. The color is very pretty and as shown. The delivery went well, I was able to catch the Fed ex delivery person when they pulled in and got them to bring them to the door, otherwise they would have left them outside. Wayfair keeps you notified when delivery should arrive so just be on the lookout for them so they dont just leave them wherever. The chairs are very attractive, true to the color shown online, and updated our small parlor. They arrived assembled, and we only needed to remove the packing material and plug the electrical cord into the back of the chair. They smoothly swivel 270 degrees as noted in the description and the footrest raises and lowers quietly and smoothly.
