We are very happy with this umbrella and would definitely recommend it. This is exactly what I needed to get rid of the big ugly base on my umbrella. The holes for the umbrella base are tapped for M8 bolts. The outer holes work for 14 bolts. The base is powder coated dark grey with some metallic flakes. This comes with 16 lag screws that are about 2” long. I didn’t use these as they wouldn’t sink far enough into the support joists.. Overall a good and large umbrella. Seems very rugged. Most certainly takes a few people a few hours to assemble and install it, so be prepared for that. It did come with a small defect where the umbrella fabric attaches to the ribs. I was worried Id have to return the whole thing for a replacement... it weighs a lot.
