They were vacuum wrapped when delivered. I put them through a quick wash, on delicate, and low heat dry. They puffed up so much!!! It looks fabulous and classy, and of course I used the included (nice!) sheets on the bed. Having the 2 sets of sheets is very handy, and I kept the remaining comforter and skirt in storage in case I want or need to switch them out.
