So far so good! Fairly easy to put together, my husband pretty much did it by himself in 5 hours but probably could have been 3 without pets and kid distractions! Seems very sturdy and our daughter loves it. The only negative I have is not with the product but rather the shipping. When ordering it makes it seem like it would arrive in 5 days but status was pending for a couple days, then seemed like it shipped, then updated to partial ship status which was confusing. This is great! The ladder is sanded very smooth and soft, no additional sanding required. Ladder is difficult to assemble, as in awkward. You will need someone to hold things and fiddle with it with you. The rail was super easy, and the metal pieces are pretty substantial. My only complaint is that one of the screw heads sheared off, so now I don't have support there, but the hassle of trying to tap it out has prevented me from dealing with it unless I have to.
