It is nice and sturdy. It has been difficult to find tables that go high enough for the amount of covers and so on I have on my bed but while a previous over the bed table from Wayfair did not go high enough it took a good long while to become tippy. This table works well, can raise quite high. My only quibble is the place where the controls wind up makes sense only if a caregiver not the person in bed is using it . Having to reach around is difficult. I don't think the cupholder is that useful as with limited options it does seem more like a prop but on balance it is great value for the money and these are harder to find than people might guess. This one is far better than the over the bed table that was still better than any of the other ones I tried.
