The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement. Solid brass body and stem with 3/8" x 16PT teeth on spline count for the handle. The cartridge thread size is 1/2-14 NPSM. Featuring an M24 x 1.0 threaded collar, and a rubber O ring at the bottom.

I’d give this white and gold smart bidet toilet an average rating overall. The design is modern and looks beautiful in the bathroom, but the setup process was frustrating. The instructions were confusing, disorganized, and oddly included a warning saying not to put it in a bathroom, which made absolutely no sense for a toilet. Installation took much longer than expected because of that. Another downside is how loud the lid is when it automatically opens and closes. It also makes a beeping sound every single time it opens, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn the sound off. Hearing the constant beeping during nighttime bathroom trips gets irritating pretty quickly. It’s not terrible, but it definitely has some annoying quirks that keep it from being a great purchase..
