The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. Love it!!! I paid $1500 to a general contractor to assemble it, took 7 hours and I paid $3500 to an electrician to run 220V to the back yard which took 6 hours. Still more than half the cost of the lowest price given at a local store here in San Diego. Great quality, gets as hot as advertised in about 15 minutes, but San Diego is never cold, so starting temp is always around 70 degrees. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all.
