My first time booking something like this up and it took about one hour. Used youtube to help put it together. It’s very heavy so I recommend using a bucket to hold it up. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. When the first rain came I noticed the water bead up and roll off of the driveway as expected. I will probably do this yearly to maintain the concrete. Best price I could find also.. Earl.
