Cute fountain, a bit shorter than I realized. Had some blemishes in the glazing where it looks like someone applied a different material to fix it? The instructions didn’t include a great diagram of the part labeled “leak protector” so I had to find an online instruction manual for a similar fountain from the same company, which used the same part. The pump was a bit unwieldy to position. So far it’s a pleasant sound of water, no drips. Not sure if any birds will use it, I was hoping the sphere on top would attract hummingbirds to bathe. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. While this fountain is easy to assemble, multiple people are required for the assembly due to the weight of the fountain components. This fountain produces a cascading sound that can be heard from a distance, even with moderate traffic, and a heavy amount of splash. This fountain has heavy components and may require lifting assistance.

This fountain is stately and beautiful. It took several people to lift the lower portions into place because it is really heavy. Then, the individual bowls had to be leveled separately. Once assembled, however, it was easy to operate. We noticed that in hot, humid weather the water evaporates quickly and we have to keep refilling the bottom bowl.
