Cute fountain, a bit shorter than I realized. Had some blemishes in the glazing where it looks like someone applied a different material to fix it? The instructions didn’t include a great diagram of the part labeled “leak protector” so I had to find an online instruction manual for a similar fountain from the same company, which used the same part. The pump was a bit unwieldy to position. So far it’s a pleasant sound of water, no drips. Not sure if any birds will use it, I was hoping the sphere on top would attract hummingbirds to bathe. For the most part, I am happy with the fountain… I wanted something on my deck to help create some serenity and tune out noises from my neighborhood. I wish it was a bit louder but there is nothing that can drown out the sound of screaming kids. One of the three lights didn’t work but I wasn’t interested in the light feature so disconnected that. There were a couple of small chips on the fountain but not too big of a deal. The tube had some scratches which I only hope is that it doesn’t decay with use. Sunguard UV protectant spray helps extend the life of garden & outdoor decor. The superior UV inhibitors protect against color fading, peeling, and cracking. When dried it has a clear finish, unlike polyurethane products, which will leave a sticky yellowish residue. Unfortunately, most garden decor comes directly from the manufacturer without UV protection leaving your outdoor investment "exposed". Outdoor decor needs sunscreen too!
