[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking at blackout shades for a while, so I was excited to try these out. We hung two panels alongside our existing, non-blackout shades and the difference in light passage is impressive. They have magnets along both side edges to ensure the panels stay together and block more light as well. We ended up purchasing three additional panels to go alongside the two panels we received for free in exchange for an honest but incentivized review. We were able to get the other matching panels for a good price on sale, making them a reasonable value for the light blocking capacity. The color is a nice creamy oat and it has a textured pattern. It does retain wrinkles - even after hanging for several weeks I will still need to steam out the remaining wrinkles from the packaging. Size seems to be true. I chose these curtains for our drafty, 100 year old new england farmhouse guest room. They are beautifully made and definitely block out the light, the sound, and help insulate the room from the cold. Very nice quality, very heavy. It stays closed even when I pass through the middle, because it goes right back into place.
