I have been using these filters for the last 7 years. I live in LA and the facet water isn’t the best to drink. These filters make a healthy water that taste good. Shower drain base flange with threaded adaptor and rubber coupler suitable for shower drain installation. Simply push the shower drain down to the threaded adapter or rubber gasket (either of them, not both). The threaded adapter adjusts the height (1'' max) of the floor drain to accommodate the floor level. Please use proper cement mix if connecting PVC pipe. Not recommended for use with a "hot-mop" membrane.

I bought 2 of these for my rough-in on my master bathroom. They seem to be working as intended.
