The bed arrived extremely fast and everything came nicely packaged. I opted to put the whole thing together myself. It’s not too difficult but a bit tedious. We are furious about the lack of finish on this daybed. More than a dozen screw inserts were omitted from various pieces, forcing us to scan the marketplace for threaded M8 x 30 and M8 x 40 inserts that are appropriate for MDF. Then we have to buy an installation tool, wood glue, a countersink, depth stop, and clamps. Then I have to remove the upholstery to install the inserts with a manual driver. A power driver cannot be used safely on MDF. Assuming all the pieces work and fit properly, then I re-apply the upholstery and begin the build.
