Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close! The instructions included leave much to be desired especially if you’re doing the propane conversion instead of natural gas hookup. The cast iron covers are rough enough to scratch up the bottom of pots, and the stainless steel is thin and easy to scratch so this would not hold up for heavy kitchen use but more likely lighter outdoor kitchen use instead. Love it. It has been up for a while, even though we have only just moved into a newly remodeled home. We love the grates that easily remove for cleaning. We had a lower ceiling than normal, but I was able to adjust the stainless chase easily. It is relatively quiet for the air that it moves.
