With the prolonged winter in the mid-Atlantic, it finally got warm enough to install this. This is an extremely well-made and equipped sail. The material looks really good, and it is substantial, fairly heavy grade. The material is porous, so don't look for this to resist rain. All the hardware is provided. You don't have to go to the hardware store for anything. The ratcheting winches were easy to install and they do the job. The mounting rings on the sail and the edge wire reinforcements are solid and look like they will hold up under the stress of wind that the sail will undoubtedly need to endure. We love this so far!. Mind you, we hung it out a few days to allow it to stretch out before really placing it where we wanted it. Do hang on an angle so water will run off...we imagine we will still have to push up the center to drain off if a heavy rain, but we haven't had that yet. Because I had the older sink replaced and was restricted to the size of the already-existing opening for it, I had mine installed as an overmount. The fabric is substantial and the hardware is impressive! I have not installed it it because it is still winter, lots of wind and rain. I am looking forward to getting it up in the spring.
