Retrofit apron: a self-trimming apron overlaps the cabinet face for a seamless installation that hides the cabinet's rough opening. A cutting-board ledge turns the sink into a workstation. With the sink, you will receive a custom-fitted HPL bamboo cutting board and a polished stainless steel strainer. An optional stainless steel multipurpose rollout rack is available. The Titan lives up to its name; it is ultra-durable and stronger than natural granite. The unique composition of 80% ground quartzite and 20% acrylic is also moisture-resistant and acts as a natural soundproofing material.

After a full month of use all is well so far. We tend to be fairly gentle with our sink and pans (stainless steel) in it while washing. We don’t leave food items sitting in the sink for long periods of time, and have not had any issues with it discoloring/staining. I LOVE this sink. It's beautifully crafted, the water runs toward the drain, and it includes a very nice sink grid (sink grids can get very pricey and if they are not included, it's hard to find one that fits perfectly that doesn't cost a small fortune). I have an InSinkerator, so did not need the included drain cover and basket - but they look MUCH better than the InSinkerator drain ;). Note, the sink is very heavy. An attractive sink at a good price. This is a fireclay sink, which means it is fired at a lower temperature than a porcelain sink, but at a higher temperature than a ceramic sink. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well..
