It works great! For the price, it’s a great value. The fan works perfectly, and as other reviews have stated, it’s not loud on one or two, but it does get loud at three and up. I do wish the controls were a little more intuitive but one thing I love is that the same controls are on both sides of the vent (one set front left, one set back right), so it doesn’t matter which way it’s installed, and you can access buttons from the left or right. Had a hard time finding a fan the size I wanted but this was it! I wanted a larger size and most were not long enough for my 36" stove width I wanted a good 4" on each end. It looks great. Great quality, easy to install... my only complaint is that the flex hose they provided cannot be attached directly to the vent because there is a backflowdraft damper that is not able to open and close with the flex hose compressed... you need to definitely use at least 6 piece of straight metal ductwork first, then attach the flex hose.... but the product is very well made otherwise!. Sleek and a eye catcher. Has great ventilation pull and has several levels of suction. My only complaints are...the fan is a bit loud and my front panel only lights up once you press on the light or vent fan icons. It's extremely hard to see the number on and light icon on the solid black touch panel. It should have a back light. Could be the installer missed connecting a wire for the back light. The box was delivered with one long side torn. Fortunately it appears the glass panels inside are not damaged. The metallic color of the frame is consistent with the pictures on the website.
