Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. It delivers strong, consistent cooling that actually keeps up with the heat load in a multi‑room apartment, not just a small bedroom. In my building, where summers can get brutally hot and humid, this unit has enough capacity to pull the temperature down quickly and then maintain a comfortable, stable environment. One of the biggest advantages is that it’s a great solution for apartments that don’t allow traditional window ACs. My building has restrictions on anything that hangs out of the window, so standard window units aren’t an option. This Frigidaire model gives you “window‑unit level” performance in a portable form factor: it vents through the window with the included kit, but nothing sticks out of the building and installation is completely reversible. For renters and people in co‑ops with strict rules, that’s a huge benefit. I also appreciate how refined the overall experience feels compared with other portable ACs I’ve used. Perfect for what I was looking for. Looks very durable and work well on our balcony. Very easy to install. Peel and stick tiles. The color is exactly as it appears in the picture. Darker is better if you have small pets as a lighter color will show more of the foot traffic. I gave 4 stars verses 5 because I would have preferred it a bit thicker but then again you must consider the weather conditions and how long it will take to dry if it rains or depending on where you live harsh winter weather. November 19,2020 - I wanted to write back and tell everyone that this is even a better carpet than I thought as we had an issue with an item we purchased elsewhere (outdoor heater) and the item we purchased was defected and started a fire when we plugged it an outlet to use. Sparks flew out of the items cord... instead of the carpet going up in flames it just scorched it and didn't go up in flames (see photo).
