This tile is beautiful, with a nice sheen and enough irregularity to catch the light and make it look expensive. However, 2/3 of the boxes I ordered came with broken tiles. I think broken tiles are more likely with this format because the grooves create weaknesses in the 14x14 sheets. Besides the breakage, the tile was easy to work with and regular enough that all the groves lined up without too much effort. I used it for my kitchen backsplash and am really pleased with the look. It is so easy to peel and paste on clean, dry, smooth, and flat surfaces the tiles are resistant to the heat of stovetops and the humidity of bathrooms. Do not use it in the shower. (note: don’t recommend putting it on the latex paint wall/brick wall/oil wall/texture wall, unfinished wall gypsum or plaster, or unpainted plywood directly). Easy to cut with a utility knife or scissors and install by anyone. Save your time and money.
