There are some good features to this air conditioner. It is lightweight and easy to carry and install into the window. It has several modes and the lowest setting makes very little noise. The "quiet" setting is very quiet. It doesn't give the cold cooling feeling that old air conditioners do and feels more like a central air conditioning system. My windows are non standard wide so I had to adjust the installation recommendations. This is it, The old adage applies here you get what you pay for. This unit is the best. Quite efficient and a remote as well. I have a large area so I didn’t expect the temperature to drop fast. This brought the temperature to my desired setting and keeps it there. The consumption on the electric will tell over time but for my comfort and piece of mind it is priceless. When I got the unit I left it sitting for about five days and it’s working perfectly. Leaving it unplugged upon arrival for a day or two allows the Freon and oil to settle back down and not damage the unit, this is a must with anything that has Freon. Burns. Rareford Nc.
