Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. This is it, The old adage applies here you get what you pay for. This unit is the best. Quite efficient and a remote as well. I have a large area so I didn’t expect the temperature to drop fast. This brought the temperature to my desired setting and keeps it there. The consumption on the electric will tell over time but for my comfort and piece of mind it is priceless. When I got the unit I left it sitting for about five days and it’s working perfectly. Leaving it unplugged upon arrival for a day or two allows the Freon and oil to settle back down and not damage the unit, this is a must with anything that has Freon. Burns. Rareford Nc. I was worried about the noise but it is relatively quiet- it sounds like our white noise machine. It seems like a quality unit that will last us years which I really appreciate. The remote is handy but I don't see us using it too much. It is very heavy and not easy to move by yourself. Even my husband struggled a bit to carry it downstairs so something to keep in mind!.
