Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. Bought this for our lower level that doesn’t have central air. Actually had to move and use this upstairs now that our central air has failed on the main floor. It’s been high 80’s this past week but with this thing on the main floor, it actually keeps it pretty cool even with the heat. Pretty impressive and it’s quiet! The only tip I can give is Just don’t place any cans touching the very back because one morning we woke up and one can must of exploded inside the fridge over night..got everywhere and leaked outside the fridge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] May 2026: Starting my 2nd summer using this dehumidifier. My old one quit after several years. I bought it at the beginning of last summer (2025) to dry my 600 sq ft unfinished cinder block basement. I attached an old piece of garden hose and drain it into a floor drain. It does a great job keeping my basement dry. Summers here in Pennsylvania are HUMID plus I often get rainwater seeping in through the cinder blocks when we have a particularly rainy spell. Probably once or twice a summer. Sometimes it “seeps” very fast (LOL) and accumulates maybe an inch or so. I suck up the worst spots with my vacuum, and this baby does a good job on the rest. Bone dry in 2 or 3 days. I am particularly fond of the app, which allows me to monitor the drying progress and basement temperature or change menu choices from anywhere via home WiFi. I have achy knees and that is so much better than going up and down the basement steps to check progress! The unit and the app were easy to set up, but be sure to keep the “Quick Start” guide handy for future app setup. I had to replace my modem recently, which required setting up the app again. I couldn’t find my guide, and finding them on Frigidaire’s website wasted a LOT of my time. Easy setup with directions, just not as simple as plug and play. VERY happy with my purchase.. Ofannod. It is recommended that you wait 24 hours to turn your unit on after it arrives. I went against that recommendation because it was absolutely sweltering in my studio space that had nothing but a fan. I purchased two of these bad boys to cover 1030 ft.² of open space with 18ft ceilings. I met FedEx AT THE DOOR! And they brought them in for me and set each unit at each window I wanted them to be placed. So delivery was smooth and easy. The installation instructions were easy to understand and the units took no more than 10 minutes each to be installed. NOTE: you will need some weather tape to seal off some gaps, but that’s to be expected. It was likely about 90° in my space before I turned them on and these had me feeling much cooler and more comfortable within about 30 minutes (run on medium at 68°) and after about an hour and a half, I didn’t feel the need to run them on medium anymore. They’re pretty quiet on the low fan cool setting, but of course they are louder on medium and high but nothing that will disturb my peace in my studio. having a window AC unit is not the prettiest thing so I can’t speak to aesthetics but I’m very happy with these —my problem has been solved..
