Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. Summit's selection of built-in under-counter beverage coolers combines user-friendly convenience with elegant style for an ideal fit in any setting. The SCR1841BPNR is an 18" wide all-refrigerator designed for use in residential settings. The front-breathing system allows built-in installation under counters, while the fully finished black cabinet also allows freestanding use. The glass door features a panel-ready stainless steel door trim that lets you customize the look to best match adjacent cabinetry (panel dimensions: 27 5/8" H x 17 3/8" W at 3/4" minimum thickness). NOTE: This unit ships with a right-hand door swing. For a left-hand version, add option LHD. Users provide their own handles. Items can be stored on four adjustable chromes shelves in the auto-defrost interior, with attractive LED lighting providing an elegant display. The digital thermostat offers intuitive temperature management. The SCR1841BPNR is also available in a 32" height for use in ADA-compliant settings (see the SCR1841BPNRADA) and can be paired with our matching wine cellar, model SWC1840BPNR. Bought this for our lower level that doesn’t have central air. Actually had to move and use this upstairs now that our central air has failed on the main floor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had good service from various Frigidaire products in the past. This is my first Frigidaire dehumidifier, and my 2nd summer for this unit. It is still going strong. I’m running it in my basement which is usually damp and musty smelling without running a dehumidifier in summer months. I attached an old piece of garden hose and it drips into a floor drain. I like that I can check and/or change settings, fan speed, timer, humidity level and temp etc. from anywhere using the app. The app is self-explanatory and does not require reading an instruction booklet! As far as noise level, not an issue for me in the basement. However, it seems to me to be an acceptable level even if run in living areas. I have not used the timer, mine runs 24/7, but it’s a nice option if needed. I am happy with my unit and look forward to many more years of service.. Frannie48. Wed Jun 10 2026
