Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. It is still going strong. I’m running it in my basement which is usually damp and musty smelling without running a dehumidifier in summer months. I attached an old piece of garden hose and it drips into a floor drain. I like that I can check and/or change settings, fan speed, timer, humidity level and temp etc. from anywhere using the app. The app is self-explanatory and does not require reading an instruction booklet! As far as noise level, not an issue for me in the basement. However, it seems to me to be an acceptable level even if run in living areas. I have to keep it on low or walk around with a sweater on. This is an awesome unit. This is a 18000 BTU. The supplemental heating in this unit is very useful in the winter months to keep warm. Wow wow wow! I am so impressed with this floor ac. Truly thank you wayfair. I got a free one last summer but it was an older model and used a lot more power and electricity and was very large. Another website scammed me into thinking I got a floor ac but it was just a fan dehumidifier which was not even how the product was described. Now finally I have this and the set up was super easy, fits great in my window and my room is already nice and cool after running for less than 5 minutes! The kitty babies I thank you.
