I just tested this device without installing it. it is quiet and efficient I will install and return to update later but that’s what I was looking for about noise level definitely recommend it. Very quiet On low speed the noise is 42 DB medium 46 and high 55. Also on the app you have the mute option which bring to noise down to 38 on low speed you almost do not hear it. Very efficient cools down the room quickly, with a powerful Fan. Also the device has the Anti-Mildew option Forgot to mention the device was a little bit damaged at the bottom since it is not affecting the AC to run correctly, I decided to keep it Definitely one of the best window AC. It is recommended that you wait 24 hours to turn your unit on after it arrives. I went against that recommendation because it was absolutely sweltering in my studio space that had nothing but a fan. I purchased two of these bad boys to cover 1030 ft.² of open space with 18ft ceilings. I met FedEx AT THE DOOR! And they brought them in for me and set each unit at each window I wanted them to be placed. So delivery was smooth and easy. The installation instructions were easy to understand and the units took no more than 10 minutes each to be installed. NOTE: you will need some weather tape to seal off some gaps, but that’s to be expected. It was likely about 90° in my space before I turned them on and these had me feeling much cooler and more comfortable within about 30 minutes (run on medium at 68°) and after about an hour and a half, I didn’t feel the need to run them on medium anymore. They’re pretty quiet on the low fan cool setting, but of course they are louder on medium and high but nothing that will disturb my peace in my studio. having a window AC unit is not the prettiest thing so I can’t speak to aesthetics but I’m very happy with these —my problem has been solved.. We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring. I was worried about the noise but it is relatively quiet- it sounds like our white noise machine. It seems like a quality unit that will last us years which I really appreciate. The remote is handy but I don't see us using it too much. It is very heavy and not easy to move by yourself. Even my husband struggled a bit to carry it downstairs so something to keep in mind!.
