Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. It is recommended that you wait 24 hours to turn your unit on after it arrives. I went against that recommendation because it was absolutely sweltering in my studio space that had nothing but a fan. I purchased two of these bad boys to cover 1030 ft.² of open space with 18ft ceilings. I met FedEx AT THE DOOR! And they brought them in for me and set each unit at each window I wanted them to be placed. So delivery was smooth and easy. The installation instructions were easy to understand and the units took no more than 10 minutes each to be installed. NOTE: you will need some weather tape to seal off some gaps, but that’s to be expected. It was likely about 90° in my space before I turned them on and these had me feeling much cooler and more comfortable within about 30 minutes (run on medium at 68°) and after about an hour and a half, I didn’t feel the need to run them on medium anymore. They’re pretty quiet on the low fan cool setting, but of course they are louder on medium and high but nothing that will disturb my peace in my studio. having a window AC unit is not the prettiest thing so I can’t speak to aesthetics but I’m very happy with these —my problem has been solved.. Solid built kegerator and it is a very quiet unit but the instructions are not very detailed and only provide instructions for a basic one tap kegerator for the most part. And no detailed instructions of how to mount or properly secure the CO2 tank and attachments. I currently have (2) 1/6 barrel kegs (90 degree keg couplers required and provided) in my kegerator and it would be a very tight fit to put a third in, if possible. I am so excited for this mini split unit. Getting a new central air conditioner is just not in the cards right now. This is a very affordable price for the amount of ac and heat that you are getting. Things of note, we had to buy a specialty drill bit to be able to install the units properly. We live in a brick house and needed to be able to drill through the brick. The lines that connect from outside to inside need about a 2 inch diameter hole to pass through. We also decided to buy a rack so that we could hang the main condenser above the ground. We were not able to install this by ourselves and had to call for reinforcements via an HVAC guy. Once everything is finished being installed I will update with the finished product! UPDATE: like others have posted, you will need a special HVAC vacuum to start the unit. You will also need special wire and a 220 outlet to connect to.
