so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. It's so easy and effortless that I can put my cupcakes or cookies in the oven and set the temp and tower and not worry if it's cooking evenly because it is! Large party size frozen meals cook evenly without me having to constantly check and turn it. When entertaining we can have the main course on the warm zone and guests come and go grabbing food that is still hot and ready to eat. The cooktop was a bit of a learning curve for me when it comes to temperature settings. Since there are two size option to heat the front burner you turn the knob to the left to set the smaller circle or right for the larger one. There are also less numbers on these so if you cook by number (like the teens set eggs to cook at 2 on the front left burner), you really have to do that number on the same burner each time because the back burners go up to a higher number and it won't be the same. Not a hard learn, just something to work into muscle memory. The whole oven being an air fryer is amazing.
