I love these tiles!! My mantel had an empty gap that always bothered me. They are easy to work with and cut, I used an angle grinder and it worked great. I did score the tiles with a glass cutter and I also taped the tiles where I needed to grind to. It is not hot enough to melt the tile sheets themselves. The tiles are also resistant to the humidity of bathrooms (do not use them in the shower). For renters, Art3d peel-and-stick Vinyl Tiles are easy to remove with little to no damage, depending on the surface they were installed on. To make it easy, use a heat gun or a blow dryer to warm up each tile sheet to soften the adhesive. Then, apply concentrated heat, starting with the corner and pulling it softly with some force. Use a cleaning product to wash the wall and remove any excess glue left on the Tiles.
