kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

I was pretty hesitant to purchase this because I saw the comments about others’ concerns of “shower curtain material.” The material is like that, AND it had fold creases in it. However, I decided to give it a try anyway. Assembly took 15 minutes. You start by inserting metal corner pieces into the extruded aluminum frame sides. Attach the cross-brace. Then insert the canvas edge into a slot that runs along the inner edge of the frame. That’s it. Difficulty level 5 out of 10. Once hung, it looked pretty good. If this will be seen close-up, you can tell it’s a printed and stretched material. All the creases are gone.
