Perfect size! We'd been searching for an L shaped desk with the option to sit/stand for a long while. This one had a couple extra options that we weren't expecting which tipped the scales it's way. The only issue we have with it is the two pieces of the desk are not attached to one another at all. So if your desk is on a smooth surface they'll slide apart easily. A second replacement came (from TX) and arrived in even worse condition (both tops had screws missing and screw holes stripped so won't stay on with screws provided, cracks on all sides, dents, etc.). I asked for a return label so whomever can inspect and see how badly damaged they are coming from TX. Third replacement sent from New Jersey or maybe Virginia- I cannot remember. Arrived in perfect condition like the first did. Customer service could not be better, but I'd call to order this piece with customer service and beg that it comes NOT from Texas. I’m giving this desk 4 stars because, while it is very spacious and offers plenty of room to work, I ran into several issues. I consider myself quite handy and enjoy putting furniture together, but the instructions were not the best. Additionally, one of the wooden planks arrived damaged. To make it fit my son’s bedroom layout, I had to reverse the configuration even though the desk isn’t designed to be reversible. Because of this, I had to place the angled plank upside down and couldn’t screw it into the metal frame however, this allowed the damaged part to face downward so it isnt noticeables. I was able to properly screw in the rectangular plank. While the metal frame is very sturdy and the desk provides a great amount of workspace, another downside is that fingerprints show up very easily on the wood. Plenty of leg room underneath (my other desk made me feel confined). The assembly took 2 of us about a half a day and some of the pictures were a little hard to read. But we got it done and it was surprisingly more sturdy than what I usually end up with when assembling. I would have liked it to be even heavier, but you get what you pay for. This standing desk is very nice but the instructions didnt really match uo too well with the pieces. I looked into it and found a similiar desk on other websites that had the same issue. The guide holes under the table top WILL NOT line up with the rails. Its best to just get it as straigjt as possible and screw the top to the legs. Because of this I gave it one star off. Its also kinda slow in my opinion when raising and lowering but this could be a good thing as well. It takes 30 seconds to rais from the default sitting to the default standing and 45 seconds from Lowest to highest. Otherwise this a great solid desk.
