I bought this item from Best Plumbing in Somers, NY. It is extremely loud...anyone in the adjacent rooms will know that you're unrolling toilet paper. Perhaps it has something to do with the side that has the arm is not fitting flushly against the wall. I had to improvise and cut down a cabinet door bumper to size, and place it where the arm and other side of the holder meet. I think the corrosion is a common occurrence with the bronze finish if you can’t keep them really dry, but not sure why both faucets I ordered are leaking so bad now because of my plumber or the product.
