I love these lamps. I am not a "modern" furniture lover, but these go great in my transitional house. I was hesitant about that at first, but they ended up looking perfectly fine once put together. If I ever want a different look, I can always swap the shades out later. These are lovely lamps that I am adding to my guestroom. The only problem which is not really a problem is that for the touch feature the wire that comes out of the lamp base is extra long and needs to be tucked down into the lamp and it’s not a smooth entry into that base.
