I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this sofa! The Slate is a really dark grey, almost with some threads of black but very soft. I love the wide flat armrests. The cushions are all very supportive yet fluffy with no sagging. The seat is deep enough to sit comfortably but also leanlounge a bit. (I am going to try to find an ottoman). I am hopeful this will stand the test of time but it seems very durable so far. The legs are black plastic not wood, but we didn’t have any issues attaching them. Quick and easy delivery as well! so i do really love this sofa and appearance-wise it is 5 stars for sure. it is very classy looking, i love the throw pillows that come with it and they are very full, the gold accents are beautiful, and it is supportive without being too stiff and it is very comfortable. only complaints are more logistical-first it said it requires assembly, which is not true it comes fully assembled which might be good for some people but i live on the fourth floor of an apartment. holding with no elevator so it definitely caused an issue, the delivery people could not fit the box inside the hallways. another thing is that it is extremely heavy, and the weight is not listed in the description. another note is that some of the gold accents look as though it is just held together by glue, it seems sturdy enough but just a thought. so overall i love it and i am glad i have it and it fits my style perfectly, however just be prepared for the delivery process.. This thing is AWESOME! The sound system is really good, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s very comfortable also, you can recline fully and lay down and also move the headrests up or down. I don’t really care for the LED light strip on the bottom so I probably won’t use it, and the button on the left side for it doesn’t work. Also I should mention that the first one the delivery team assembled for us did not work, it had a failed motor which they did not discover until after they assembled it.
