Tub was listed on the website as cast iron but actually was acrylic. Talked to customer service representative who was wonderful and immediately said the info was sent by the manufacturer to go on Wayfair website and that Wayfair was unaware that it wasn't cast iron. This whirlpool tub is a great tub to replace a normal size tub if you want the luxury without adding space to a bathroom. It is very calming and relaxing. The jets aren't super strong, but they are enough to help muscles relax. My teenagers love using this after sports, and my husband and I enjoy it after work. Each of my family has said they think this was a good purchase. Having the heater helps a lot. It doesn't make the water "hot" but it keeps it at the temperature that it was originally or slightly warmer. Have a professional install to make sure it is set up correctly helps! Ordered Friday, arrived Monday - VERY fast service. Shower pan was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. Support is very dense so floor should be very solid. I am very happy with this for our new bathroom installation in our basement.
