It penetrates deep into the substrate where it chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores that reduces surface water absorption by up to 95%. The Armor SX5000 WB is made from high-quality, non-recycled, US-manufactured resins. It is designed for unsealed concrete, brick, pavers, natural stone, and porous masonry. It works entirely below the surface, won’t change the look or color of the substrate, and won’t leave a surface film. By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. When the first rain came I noticed the water bead up and roll off of the driveway as expected. I will probably do this yearly to maintain the concrete. Best price I could find also.. Earl. I have used it for a few games and didn’t do as well as my 219.00 one which has a rubber looking tip and a hole to screw in an extender, there are complaints with the extender in due to there not being enough space needed for one of the ping-pong tables. It’s a bit cramped need for more space at ping-pong tables 1. My 219.00 one has a fiberglass narrow end toward the tip. I would have a better result if I just fatten the tip a bit.
