Lift the decanter from horizontal to a vertical position to fill the decanter. The second contact with oxygen is triggered when the wine is poured out of the Escargot decanter into the glass. When pouring hold the decanter by the oval indent for conveyance. The decanter construction forces fresh air through the already decanted wine a second time to fill the air space in the decanter. This second aeration process creates a bubbling gurgle when the air is forced through the neck of the escargot decanter.

Whimsical in terracotta, Rocky the Teckel is a sculpture by the emerging Thai artist Nhut Nhathawut. With an expression that is so lifelike that it feels like he may bark at any moment, there are a number of artisanal aspects to the canine sculpture. This includes the obvious strokes of the artist's tools that play along the surface of the dog's body. Palampores, or "Tree of Life" patterns, have their origins in India, where the exotic designs were hand painted and mordant dyed, and exported to Europe and England for use as elaborate bed hangings and curtains. Pondicherry, now offered as a wallcovering, the colorways remain true to their 90's origins, highlighting the iconic filigree pattern amidst the exotic tree of life motif. The colorways were developed in 2015, with the filigree omitted from the fabric design. These wallcoverings and colorways remain true to the fabric's original design. Intricately detailed flowers and lush foliage accompanied by whimsical birds and playful squirrels add to its timeless appeal. In the first painting, Childhood, all the important story elements of the series are introduced: the voyager, the angel, the river, and the expressive landscape. An infant is safely ensconced in a boat guided by an angel. The landscape is lush; everything is calm and basking in warm sunshine, reflecting the innocence and joy of childhood. The boat glides out of a dark, craggy cave which Cole himself described as "emblematic of our earthly origin, and the mysterious Past." The river is smooth and narrow, symbolizing the sheltered experience of childhood. The figurehead on the prow holds an hourglass representing time.
