I ordered these lamps to replace the ones that were on our bedside tables. What I liked about these lamps was that they are smaller in bulk and would give us more space back for all the things we need to plug in at night. I also liked that they operate by touch to turn on/off. It's so simple now. The shade is white, so when the light is on, it brightens to room more. What disappoints me is that one of the lamps doesn't work. We can touch it to turn it on, but then it won't turn off. We can touch it anywhere, but it doesn't work, we have to unplug it to get it to turn off. We may end up getting a lightbulb that we can use through Amazon Echo and turn it on and off through there.
