The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. These are really nice shelves. Because they're custom and not 'off the shelf' you can maximize the shelf size and not lose as much space as you do with set sized shelves. The Good This pull-out shelf is exceptionally well-made and feels incredibly sturdy once installed. The wood finish is high-quality, and the full-extension rails operate smoothly, making it effortless to access items at the very back of the cabinet. The Installation I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to install. The provided instructions were great—clear, logical, and easy to follow. Additionally, the included alignment guide was a fantastic touch that made the setup much more precise and straightforward. The Sizing (A Note for Beginners) The only challenge I faced was deciding on the final dimensions. Despite measuring four separate times to be certain, my lack of experience in this area made the sizing process a bit confusing. I really love the shelf, but looking at it now, I do wish I would have ordered it one inch wider to fully capture the potential of the space. Because of the sizing gap, I currently have a 3/4-inch space on each side that cuts down on the usable surface area. It will ultimately be up to my wife to decide if we keep this unit or try another path. Arrived in perfect condition, which I was a little worked about based on prior reviews. The price was a little high, but it serves me very well. I like that the top two drawers are not super deep so office supplies can stay at one level. Installation of wheels was very quick--the two locking casters go up front and the regular swiveling casters go in the back. Each wheel slides into a track, and a provided screwdriver fits into a slot on the adjacent metal tab that then gets bent upward to secure the wheel in its place. The final guide caster fits into the center of the bottom drawer and is held in place with a little black nut that pops in from the inside of the drawer. Hope that helps anyone who had trouble with the diagram! The filing section can fit letter-sized hanging file folders oriented either parallel or perpendicular to the drawer with the provided adjustable rod. A great little piece for the office!. Ch. Wayfair had the best price in town on these garage cabinets. They came almost fully assembled. The only thing I had to do was put the legs on the bottom in the shelves inside. They do have to be mounted on the wall, and the work bench has to be secured to the bottom cabinets. All in all, a very easy install. I am getting garage envy from my friends.. Carolyn.
