This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. I have a GIANT headboard and with my mattress and boxspring the outlet behind my bed is really hard to get to. I bought this to try it out to figure out a convenient solution and it’s made it so much easier. I don’t have to have to struggle fitting my whole hand back there to adjust plugs, I just push a button on the interface and it cuts everything back on.
