Easy to install but I did have to use my previous light fixture’s mounting plate bc the one it came with had a metal piece in the way of outlet box and wouldn’t fit flushed. It doesn’t occupy space and is not easy to be damaged. It needs 3 AA batteries. The battery power supply is not limited by the site. With the timer function, you don’t have to go out every night to turn them on/off. 6 hours on and 18 hours off.
