I really wanted to give this door a 5-star review because it truly is beautiful. It’s well made, solid, heavy, and looks far more expensive than it is. It adds such a clean, modern touch to my home. Unfortunately, the packaging for shipping needs improvement. I’ve ordered multiple doors from this brand through Wayfair — both with and without the bore hole pre-cut — and nearly all of them, including this one, arrived with some type of chip, crack, or minor damage. So far, only two have arrived completely damage-free. That said, the door itself is high quality and looks fantastic once installed. The doors were extremely well packaged is such a way as to NOT add a lot of bulk but to protect the doors from the normal shipping damage that can occur. Wood blocking all around to protect edges, extra pad on corners, two layers of foam in front and back (already removed in the picture). High quality doors (as expected). This is an excellent door. It is solid. I did have to have it professionally installed since my house is a bit crooked. As you can seen in the pic where the door looks like unfinished wood on the side with the hinges, that's where the installer had to trim down the door to make it fit in the wonky space. As you can see, that's wood. Nice solid wood. The door is a very nice addition to my house. It looks modern while still maintaining a vintage feel. I will purchase a second door 100% for sure for my other room. I wanted to make sure this one was quality and it definately is. It was also packaged very well and delivery was smooth and without damage. I would purchase this item without any worry. It is a very nice door and definatley a nice addition to your home.. Tamara.
