A quick call to a very helpful Wayfair sales rep pointed me in the right direction on which remote was compatible with this specific fan model. The remote was easy to install and it worked like a charm. Fan assembly was easy. We also added a longer (24") down rod (purchased from our local box store) with no issues. This fan is beautiful and definitely has more of a rustic feel to it. It is not a dark walnut wood, but a few shades lighter and looks like reclaimed wood.
