Wow this thing is a beast! Battery charged rather quickly which is nice. It is a little hard to maneuver it in and out of the battery slot. However, with practice I am hoping that will become easier. Maintaining pressure on the up and down button I am sure is a safety feature, but until you become a seasoned pro it takes a little finesse. I just received the ladder. Assembly was simple; less than 10 minutes. The ladder is very sturdy and stable, with large rubber feet and excellent grip in the steps. Although the description states "steel" construction, it omits the weight of ~25lbs. It is heavier than I expected. One other consideration: the handrails screw on in a fixed position...not really "removable" w/o removing 4 screws.
