These are lovely large bowls, which I have placed on a table in my partially finished basement. I only put water in these bowls for my two larger breed cats, and these bowls hold their supplemental water which I change daily, mostly. On a nearby wood table I place their food in stainless steel "neater feeder" bowls. Although I reside in the mountains, during this unusually humid and hot season, it is much cooler in my basement so leaving the cats food downstairs ensures that they will spend some time there when I am at work.
