I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. My driveway has now gone through two winters and the sealant is still somewhat effective, but I think I will need to coat it again this fall.. Bryan. Halifax, NS. Thu Mar 26 2026

We bought this in black to match our faucet. It's incredibly heavy, which is good because it gives it a solid feel. The mounting pipe is metal which is nice, because these are often plastic and don't hold as well over time. I do wish that the logo on the top wasn't as prominent, but because it matches the sink (Blanco) it's not so bad. Overall a great dispenser. Update a year or so in. At first we used a thicker dish soap (maybe Dawn?) and it clogged all the time so we switched to a thinner one (Meyers) and that worked much better. But now the soap tends to leak out from under the pump head onto the counter like other people have noted. I am thrilled beyond belief with the gorgeous, fantastically crafted, and hefty statue of St. Francis I received. I would have reviewed this piece of art yesterday but the statue is 72# and I am not as young or strong as I used to be so it took me a day to prepare the garden and move him into it. I wanted to include a photo just to let everyone, including the manufacturers, how he looks in my walkway to the backyard. The people who created this item obviously care about their work as St. Francis came encased in a foam block molded to him which was tucked nicely in a box. WOW! I cannot express how happy I am that I took a chance (ready the reviews it was not that much of a chance) and ordering him. I have been looking for a St. Francis garden statue for quite awhile.
