This is a terrific little system! I am a tea drinker and my husband let it slip that the UK has hot water on demand in many places... I asked if we could and lo and behold! Installation was easy*, although we didn't use the supplied filter as we have it going through a filter system already. The temperature isn't exact, so we did have to mess with the dial a little. It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. We got the 150,000BTU heat pump. A little overkill for our 18x33’ pool but I didn’t want to take any chances as our last heater (different brand) had a hard time keeping up. This is a big, heavy heat pump so be prepared to move it and get it in place. Our friend who installs pools came by to check it out and gave a thumbs up. Now we are waiting for our electrician to run a 220 line. He looked over the heat pump and had favorable things to say. Will update my review once it has electricity. We did have a smaller window a/c unit that was just ok, but this one is a game-changer! It has a/c AND heat! Year-round comfort! It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. We love it! The remote is handy and the timer feature is awesome. It is well-made and the as easy to install. We had to order a sleeve to slide it into, but it was very simple.
